Bats have a huge impact on our daily lives, as essential pollinators. Over 300 types of fruit depend on them to exist, including nuts, figs, cacao, bananas, peaches, avocados and mangoes, to name a few!

While bats are not actually blind, they do use echolocation to navigate, which has actually helped scientists develop navigational aids for blind people!

They are also the only flying mammal, and can reach a shocking speed of over 100 mph!
